Instagram for Therapists

Grow your practice.

Get clients that are an amazing fit.

Maybe even go viral.

Do you want to use social media to grow your practice but you find the whole thing intimidating?

Are you currently trying to use social media as a marketing tool but you’re unsatisfied with the returns you’re getting from it?

Hi! I’m Katherine.

Three years ago I started an Instagram account to market the private practice I was planning to open. I had no equipment aside from my phone, and no professional training in social media management. The one thing I did have was a strong idea of who I was as a clinician. And so my strategy was to simply let that shine through.

And it worked.

Today my Instagram has 130,000 followers. Instagram has been my primary referral source for my whole time in private practice. I offer online courses and I have repeat customers that come back again and again.

All because of my success on social media.

Want to learn how to do what I’ve done? I’ll teach you.

My Instagram for Therapists course teaches you how to market yourself on social by leading with your authenticity. No gimmicks. No selling out your values. I don’t believe in that.

In fact, you’ll be much more successful if you let your true self shine through.

Here’s what you’ll learn inside the training:

Week 1:Getting clear on your message

  • Articulate who are you as a clinician and what you, uniquely, bring to the world

  • Learn how to successfully position yourself in a saturated market

  • Understand your ideal client and what will capture their attention

  • Develop language to speak to an ‘everyman’ about clinical work

Week 2:Translating your message to Instagram content

  • Understand the different types of posts you can create (video, text, images, etc.) and the pros and cons of each

  • Learn what tactics capture attention and increase share-ability

  • Review simple ways to make your content look polished without investing in expensive equipment

  • Make friends with the trial & error/experimentation process

Next cohort:
June 18th & June 25th live on Zoom
12PM to 2pm EST (both sessions)

This is a highly interactive training where I give a lot of individual feedback; therefore, I cap each training at a maximum of 10 participants. Don’t wait to reserve your slot!

Testimonials

  • I took the Instagram for Therapists course and am really glad I did. Katherine's expertise in harnessing the value of Instagram for marketing as a therapist is clearly grounded in her own hard work and experience, which made her advice and feedback feel very credible. She did a great job of organizing the information in a way that provided practical tools and guidance while also facilitating enlivening and creative engagement. Katherine's skill as a therapist was evident as she helped those of us who participated work through some of our emotional resistance and fears, utilizing these conversations as part of the group's structure. I also appreciated her emphasis on authenticity and came away from the training feeling inspired and excited to try out the new ideas her training helped me generate.

  • Katherine's Instagram for Therapists course was exactly what I needed to get curious and courageous about opening my therapy page. Katherine's approach was gentle and inviting as we worked through our personal insecurities and learned the techie skills that some of us may take longer to learn. We were given opportunities to try our ideas, practice new skills, and, most importantly, stay authentic to our true selves.

  • I took Katherine’s Instagram for therapists and walked away feeling less intimidated and inspired to reach my audience in creative ways that match my level of comfort. It was especially helpful because the exercises she offered forced you to think of who you are in the business of mental health.

  • As an early career therapist, I took Katherine's Instagram for Therapists to learn the skills to build my practice online and I am so grateful that I did. Katherine is warm, knowledgeable, and makes the training FUN! Before this training, I was so overwhelmed at the idea of using social media. I had no idea how to make content that would feel both engaging and validating for prospective clients. Now, having taken this training, I feel more than capable of creating content that will speak to clients and feel authentic to myself. In this training with Katherine, you will take the time to define your niche and practice speaking to an audience. Whether you're early in your career or have been a therapist for years, if you're looking to jump into creating content on social media, this is the training for you!
